Every single horse I have ridden/trained/schooled/whatever can go into the show ring in a french link loose ring or a plain d ring. It’s not because I beat them into submission, it’s because they’ve been schooled well enough to know what’s expected of them and what they have to do.
Have I never used an elevator/pelham/corrective bit? No, of course I’ve used them....

I would like to dedicate this post to all the idiots who use elevators and pelhams who have no idea what the HELL they are doing.
How about…hmm…correct training?
Or is every teenage “trainer” out there too goddamn lazy to do any of that??
